Identified at its production as simply L6-S, this particular guitar features the 6-way rotary pickup switch that would later be designated as the L6-S Custom model.  Equipped with Bill Lawrence ceramic pickups, this remarkable guitar allows for the following pickup selections:

1. Both pickups, in series
2. Neck pickup, alone
3. Both pickups, in parallel
4. Both pickups, parallel out of phase
5. Bridge pickup, alone
6. Both pickups, series out of phase.

This unique guitar is very good shape and plays wonderfully, with very minimal fretwear (likely refretted at some point).  Minor cosmetic wear and finish checking is visible, but electronics and hardware are fully functional.  Tuners have been replaced with Schallers.

Overall, this is a fantastic player-grade instrument that is ready to play!  Original Gibson case is included.
