Used 1969 Steinway Model D Grand Piano - Satin Ebony

This 9-foot Steinway grand piano is beautiful piece of cultural history in Wisconsin. It originally arrived in Appleton as part of Steinway's Concert Department "piano bank" and was made available for performances throughout Wisconsin. Before its journey to the Midwest, this piano was personally selected by legendary pianist Arthur Rubinstein as a touring and recording instrument in the US.  Please take note of the news clipping in the photos, featuring our founder Peter Heid next to this piano and explaining its history.  Heid Music is thrilled to have this incredible piano here again, ready for its next adventure. Though it is a slightly older instrument, internal work was recently completed, including hammer and action regulation as well as voicing. A matching bench included.
